Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is started in the year 2008. The department has established itself as one of the best departments of VIT. The department of EEE is offering U.G program. The department has number of well equipped laboratories and provides excellent facilities for learning. Department periodically organizers seminars, symposium, workshops and guest lectures for the benefit of both the students and the faculty.

The mission of the department is to turn out disciplined and competent engineers with sound work and life ethics and To keep the curriculum industry friendly, with due regard to the University curriculum. Develop innovative, efficient and quality Electrical and Electronics Engineers and to enrich knowledge and encourage the students to become Entrepreneurs. It has a goal to be a center of excellence for development and dissemination of knowledge in Technology and Engineering for the nation and beyond.

100% pass in every subject by proactive mentoring of weak students.
70% class average marks in every subject ensuring through performance in unit tests and other forms of feedbacks from students.
Aspire to make atleast one student getting rank within the first 20 at the university level by proactive mentoring of academically strong students.
Atleast 80% project work will be done in the department using hardware and software in the emerging technologies.
Minimum one technical paper published by every faculty member during a year.
10%of the students every year to be sent out for technical paper presentation.
100% placement through campus selection.
All the students taking part in co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
At least five teachers every year should be deputed for attending short term courses.
