Language Labs: Fully air conditioned multi media language labs installed with licensed software and equipped with LCD projectors and OHPs. These labs, besides catering to students’ lab curriculum needs, they are also utilised effectiely to improve the soft skills of the students.

Physics Lab: Fully established as per the JNTUK lab Curriculum. Introduced some novel experiments dealing with Fiber-Optics.

Chemistry Lab: Established as per the JNTUK Lab Curriculum.

Training in Foreign Languages
The basic Science department provides another value addition facility to the students, namely Training in Foreign Languages. To start with training in German Language has been initiated in 2009-10. Some selected students successfully completed their training and received their A1 level certificates from Goeth Zentrum Institute, Hyderabad. Training in German Language is an ongoing process in VIT. Steps are being initiated to provide training in other foreign languages such as Spanish & French with effect from 2010-11.
